2010 Infiniti QX56 made its debut at the Beijing International Automobile Exhibition, which is held April 23 to May 2. The exhibition of the automaker will also include 2010 FX sport utility vehicle, EX25 coupe crossover, G37 convertible and G25 premium sport sedan.
Infiniti EX and FX models are now available to order with a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine, the first time a diesel engine has ever appeared in Infiniti’s 20-year history. The 235bhp, 406lb ft direct-injection engine will also feature in the firm’s new M saloon, due to go on sale later this year.
The engine helps the EX30d get from 0-62mph in 7.9sec and the FX30d covers the same distance in 8.3sec. Infiniti’s European vice president Jim Wright said a diesel engine was a must if Infiniti was to establish itself in Europe.
