Lamborghini has unveiled the Murcielago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce China Limited Edition at the Beijing Auto Show. Designed for “discriminating super sports car enthusiasts,” the China Edition features a grey exterior with black and orange accents.
During a press conference yesterday, Chrysler and Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne confirmed that the 2012 Alfa Romeo Giulia and the 2013 Alfa Romeo Spider will both be built on Chrysler platforms. Two versions of the Giulia, a.k.a. the 159, will be produced, including sedan and wagon varieties.
New details of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta were released today ahead of the car’s European market debut in May. The five-door 147 replacement will be available with five different turbocharged four-cylinder engines when it goes on sale.
Amongst these is the 235 PS (173 kW / 232 bhp) 1750 TBi petrol unit that will be featured on the Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde. The direct-injection model has a “revolutionary scavenging control system” that reduces turbo lag. As such, the 340 Nm (251 ft-lb) of torque is available at 1,900 RPM.
