Saleen Vehicles has teamed up with the performance orientated Indiana-based company Brenspeed and the driver Brent White to campaign a 2010 Brenspeed / Saleen Speedlab racecar in nine NMRA events this season.
The specially retrofitted ‘Stang is fitted with Brenspeed B302 power unit boosted by a Saleen Series 6.5 supercharger. Thanks to these high-end components, the racing ride is capable to deliver 600-plus horsepower. Furthermore, the Brenspeed / Saleen Speedlab racecar is distinguished by a Saleen Speedlab aerodynamic body package.
By this April the Audi R8 Evolution racing car will have been delivered to 20 teams planning on racing in various national and international racing series during 2010.
These include the two 24-hour races at the Nürburgring and at Spa-Francorchamps. Audi has made a lot of changes to the 2009 cars, mostly aimed at making the experience as user-friendly and easy as possible.
GM has unveiled the second-generation C6.R, which is based on the Corvette ZR1.Designed to compete in the unified GT class in the 2010 American Le Mans Series and the GT2 class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the C6.R will race against Aston Martin, BMW, Porsche and Ferrari (just to name a few).
As specified by GT rules, the C6.R uses many production-based components from the ZR1.
